Parental Involvement
Welcome to Parents’ Page at www.wexfordeducatetogether.ie. We at Wexford Educate Together acknowledge that parents, as the primary educators of their children, play a key role in school life. We operate an ‘open-door’ policy whereby parents are invited to participate in classroom activities in consultation with the class teacher.
So far this year parents have become involved in the following ways:
-Storytelling
-Art and Crafts
-Baking and soup-making
-Geography/History Projects
-Numeracy helpers
-Shared/Paired reading
-Music and song
-Feasts and Festivals
If you have any suggestions/ideas please contact your child’s class teacher who will make every effort to accomodate you. It is advised that all parents read our Parental Involvement Guidelines which is available below.
